How to Hire
We are mums around Auckland area who have beautiful and useful items for kids and mums to try before decide to buy or to use for an special occasion. We help each other by earning some extra money while we also help the community by providing items that can benefit other families. Using the philosophy "use, reuse and recycle" we also help the environment and avoid waste.
Hire items from us is easy and fun!

2. Find the products that you would like to hire.
3. Pay online.
4. Check your email (including spam box) for a confirmation of your order and more instructions regarding when and where to pick the items up.
5. Enjoy the items!
6. Return them for other people to enjoy as well.

How do I rent an item?
Check the availability of the product you want in the calendar, chose the dates and for how long you want to hire. The price advertised is for the first week. If you wish to hire for more days, a small amount will be added to each additional week. Some items are available for up to 2 weeks and others for up to a month.
Pick Up Goods
When you hire good from our Site, you must pick them up and drop them off at the location provided. Before placing an order, make sure you are able to pick up the product in the region described in the product description. At the moment we don't offer delivery or shipping options.
The product owner will contact the client to discuss suitable times for pick up and drop off time of the product hired. We don't do pick ups and returns on weekends and public holidays.
Do I have to iron or steam the clothes I hire?
No, items should not require ironing or steaming, as we will do this prior to sending the item to you. However if an item arrives creased, please hang it ahead of your event to allow any creases to fall out. If you experience further concerns, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
Do I have to clean an item?
You don't have to wash the items before using and before returning them. Every item on the Hire Here platform is cleaned and fully sanitized and poses no health risks to wearers. However it is your obligation to maintain the items you hire clean and in good condition before returning them, including toys and party supplies.
Hire Here Process of Cleaning the Rental Items
As part of our COVID-safe cleaning plan, our partners are instructed to follow careful steps when receiving each returned item.
When the client return the item, we check for dirt in crevasses, count parts, and check for faulty toys/pieces/damage/stain, etc.
DEEP CLEAN OF TOYS
Each toy when returned, goes through a process of cleaning and sanitizing. This process varies depending on the surface. If a toy is unable to be sanitized effectively, that item is quarantined for 3 days prior to being put for rental again.
All fabric/clothes are washed according to the label instructions before put back for rental.
TOY STORAGE BOX
The whole box is washed and sanitized, ensuring everything is dry before placing toys back in them.
Damaged Hired Item
If any item gets damaged, please do not repair it yourself. Please advise the company immediately on email@example.com. When the item is received back we'll carry out a condition report and assess the damage and consider a suitable solution, whether laundering, repair or additional charge, in part or full, from the renter as compensation to the owner for their loss.
Your credit card will be charged for the repair of the damaged hire item. If the hire item cannot be repaired, your credit card will be charged for the replacement cost of the hired item.
If the item doesn't fit
We recommend to try the item as soon as you can. If an item that you have ordered doesn't fit, you have 12 hours to get in touch with us on firstname.lastname@example.org and return your item to the same address you picked up in 24 hours. We will be happy to provide you with Store Credit that can be used to hire another item that is available in our website. Store Credit will be provided to you at the same value you have transacted with us. This cannot be redeemed as cash and will be valid for 2 months of the date of which you have returned your initial item.
Late Return of Hire Item
If you return your hire item late, your credit card will be charged for the extended hire period. The amount charged will be calculated based on the number of days the product is late.
Lost or Stolen Hire Item
If you do not return a hire item, your credit card will be charged for the cost of replacing the hire item. If part of a hire item is missing, your credit card will be charged for replacing the missing part or full replacement cost if it's not possible to replace the missing part.
Special Conditions for Toy Hire
For battery operated toys, please use your own batteries and remove them before returning.
The Product Safety Standards (Children’s Toys) Regulations 1992 set compulsory standards covering toys for children under the age of three. The Standard aims to reduce death or injury to young children from toys or parts of toys that are so small they could be swallowed or inhaled, causing choking. It is the responsibility of each member to ensure appropriate toys are chosen for children under the age of 3, and where a family comprises both children under and over this age to supervise and protect those under the age of three from toys that are unsuitable and do not meet the Safety Standard.
You must check all toys are in their correct toy box at the end of the hire period in case you hired more than 1 box of toys.
Our cancellation policy is: prior to a 7 days of the booking date, a full refund less 5.9% admin fee will be given. After this period, the client won't have the right to ask for refund.

Covid-19 Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be given less 5.9% admin fee if changes in New Zealand alert levels mean you cannot pick up the items.

Changes in the booking: If you need to make any changes in the booking date, please contact us by email prior to a 7 days of the booking date and let us know your order number. We will do our best to try to accommodate your needs.
